Hello dear friends!
We are happy and content to announce the success of our very first Thai Massage Course! The people were amazingly engaged, lovely and motivated! We are very positive that you all have the power and the will to influence something great!
In the beginning there is of course a lot of practicing, asking and trying but this is how you learn right!? :)
We are so happy that we could give this introductory course to such a motivated and friendly group of fellow people ;)
A big thank you once again to Melanie Pillhofer and Ronald Steiner for helping us to make this dream come true :)

We are now on our way to meet our friends in Berlin and to organise another workshop over there as well! Whoooo! :)

* Tieferer und erholsamerer Schlaf.
* Verringerte Stressemotionen in Körper und Geist.
* Verbesserte Durchblutung im Körper sorgt für mehr Sauerstoffversorgung zum Gehirn.
* Entspannung von Körper, Geist und Seele.
* Die angewandten Dehnungen und Drehungen verhelfen zu gesteigerter Mobilität, körperlicher Geschmeidigkeit und gesteigerter Flexibilität.

Thanks God, Germany it`s Yoga!

Thanks God, Germany it`s Yoga!

Hi, all, thanks God, all in Germany it's a bliss, we have been doing so much fun living with our loving and generous family in a beautiful small town surrounded by fields of wheat, corn, and all kind of seeds and grains, berries, fruits, flowers and trees, our bicicle rides to the city of Ulm are so delightful and enhance our explorations in to the city and surroundings, as soon as we arrive, we got to know our Ashtanga Yoga Comunity here and found the amazingly beautiful family at AYI Ulm, (Ashtanga Yoga Institute Ulm,) were we were wellcomed and warmed up and invited to practice with this great group of Yoguis and Yoguinis leaded for Dr. Ronald Steiner a great advance teacher in Vinyasa Ashtanga who runs complete Teacher Trainings for Ashtanga Lovers.

Here we feel the love for ashtanga, and the love for Yoga, (UNITY) and we are deepening our pratice.

As I have been practising giving and receiving therapy of Thai Massage for about 4 years, now we feel a call to share our art of Thai massage, so we are opening a training in the basics of Thai Massage for our people of Ulm.

Besides all our Ashtanga and Thai Massage performances we have been spending some time getting  lots of learnings and training in climbing rocks, with Katja`s mom "Angelica", who teach us a lot and take us out to  the forest to climbn safely, so we got in touch wit "The Einstein Boulder Halle", a great place where we have fun sharing our Ashtanga Yoga and have some classes ahead for bambinis and babies & moms yoga, and want to climb bouldering technique as well.

In Germany!

Hallo liebe Ulmer!
So much fun and so much to learn!
Much Love and Blessings!
Katja und Edgar

Picture Update

Edgar Bernard - Bio- Experience.

Hello dear human brothers of Mother Earth.

This a brief history about this being, at service of the divine awakening for human kind in mother earth.

After several years studying licenced in finances, and postdegree in finances, and working for the financial system in Mexico city, and succeding on it making good money, I felt that making money was not making me happy. Then I started a journey looking for my heart and happiness, after a spiritual search and enlightening realizations, I discovered my real mission and passions and gave up the bussiness world.

Then in 2005 I started to practice meditation and Yoga, in the Osho Meditation Center in Mexico City, taking my first courses in Massage, Reiki Channeling, Spiritual and health counselling, Tarot reading consultation, and Dynamic Meditation guide.

In this times I met amazing teachers and spiritual guides as Dayal, Dharmesh, Isha, and Osho, who with love and great open heart, helped me to realize the divine light on this being.

After three years practicing meditation and Yoga, and giving consultation to closest friends in Mexico City, I had my first fulfilling experiences guiding dynamic and Kundalini meditations in Mexico City, then I moved to Tulum, Quintana Roo, on the beach, practicing and working in my new passion helping people to find relief from stress, tensions, and worries which are the cause of diseases and traumatisms. In these times I started a course in Acrobatic Partner Yoga and practizing all the time.

Then in 2008 I travelled to Toronto Canada where I studied and got my certification at the Yoga Space studio by the Yoga Alliance as a Yoga teacher in Hatha Flow Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and Therapeutic and Restaurative Yoga, then I started my first training and studies in Thai Yoga Massage, where I fell in love with this form of energy healing, and I started practicing and giving group Yoga classes and private healing sessions there in Toronto.

There I came back to my child hobbies as a dancer and performer, taking several courses in dance, performance, aerial dance, juggling and acrobatics, doing such a deep body work which helped me to heal my own human traumatisms, tensions and old injuries and it gave me a great understanding of  the deep functioning of the energies moving through the body.

In 2010 I came back to Tulum where I studied an advanced course in Thai Massage and Water Rebirth Therapy basic and advanced, and continuing developing my skills in teaching Yoga, then I became happy and complete in my life doing what makes me happy and strong emotionally, mentally and physically.

Since then I am living my life giving and helping my human brothers and sisters troughout Yoga, Meditation, Thai Massage, and Water Rebirth Therapy in every place that this divine power is sending me.

Lately I start practicing and giving four handed Thai Massage with my partner Katja realizing that this form of therapy is making a beautiful balance in the feminine and masculine energy given to our clients and for our own experience in giving.

Katja Schneider, Bio - experience

Katja started travelling around the world in 2009, after she finished the High School in Germany. The first time her travels lead her to Australia, where she lived and worked in different places along the Australian East Coast for one year.
Falling in love with Melbourne she wanted to stay there for longer. This made her study a course in Tourism Management at a Melbourne based college. Here she wanted to come closer to her dream of travelling the world.
After finishing her course in July 2012, Katja decided to travel again, starting from Melbourne, hitch hiking up the Australian East Coast her way to Far North Queensland. Here she came more and more in touch with nature, through WWOOFING ("willing workers on organig farms") and wild camping experiences.
When she was 22 years old, Katja heard for the first time consciously about the ancient science of Ayurveda. This made her curious about the medicinal properties of the plant kingdom and she was starting to focus on a naturopathical/herbology path. Reading books whenever possible and discovering more ways of living with nature through various WWOOFING experiences, the dream grew inside Katja that she wanted to know more about the ancient ways of healing sciences.
Travelling to Mongolia in March and April 2013 brought her more in touch with the Asian way of generousity and simplicity. She felt connected to the people and their beautiful heart warming and easy going temper.
In August 2013, Katja visited her home country Germany, giving often massages to her family members which were very much enjoyed from both parties.
The friend of the family who was from Thailand and who was practicing Thai Massage in the local village, recommended Katja to study Thai Massage once she reaches Thailand. This was a seed planted in her mind. The spontanious decision came up to eventually travel to India. This journey began in September 2013 in New Delhi. Here she started to travel the North of India, living in the Ved Niketan Ashram in Ram Jhula, Rishikesh for two months and practicing Yoga on a regular basis. This was a very profound experience as it was a new discovery of the feeling for the body.
In the further travels around India, Katja connected again with her previous idea of studying Ayurveda. Reading books of David Frawley, meeting other Ayurveda students and seeing Ayurvedic practices all around, she came back to her previous dream of studying Ayurvedic Massage and the teachings.
When she eventually reached the South of India, Katja went to a small town named Kannur, in the state of Kerala, where she began a one month course in Abhyanga Massage, Ayurvedic Face and Head Massage, Kalari Marma Massage and Panchakarma treatment techniques.
The course covered the different types of Doshas, how to determine the body constitution of each individual person, the Pulse reading techniques and the five subdivisions of each Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
In this course Katja felt that she got a perfect base in understanding the basic and fundamental principles of the universe connected to Ayurveda. As Ayurveda is a science of life and is as infinite as life itself, it is connected to a neverending process of learning and studying.
Yet there is many parts of plant treatments and herbology that are still to be studied and I am so curious and excited to learn these too!
After six months of travelling through India, my Visa finished and I had to leave the country.
Hearing more and more about Thai Massage while my last month in Goa, South India, I was getting curious and getting closer to this next dream of studying the ancient art of Dr Shivagos Thai Massage.
Arriving in Chiang Mai in March 2014, Katja began her study in Thai Reflexology Foot Massage with a local business named Sabai De Kaa. After this course she spent a month of enjoying the north of beautiful Thailand, travelling to Laos as well to renew the Thai Visa and finally returning back to Chiang Mai in April 2014 where she began her study of Thai Massage in a family based business, the Khunchamnan family. Here she had a one on one training with the teacher Nok, who had been taught through generations of her family the ancient art of Thai Massage.
Studying a basic and an advanced course in Thai Massage, Katja learned many different techniques, ways and positions of massaging the body and releasing energy blockages by massaging some of the many different energy lines, named Sen in Thai Pali language.
Staying in Thailand, Chiang Mai for a further three months, she got to know many other friends who were studying Thai Massage as well and together they practiced with each other in their free time.
Katja returned back to Europe in the summer of 2014, having also learned a style of knotmaking jewlwery, named Macrame, she began her travels to SUN festival in Hungary and Boom Festival in Portugal. Meeting like minded people on this journey, the passion for the newly learned skills grew.
In November 2014 Katja went off to new shores to explore Mexico. Here she began a job as a massage therapist in a hotel Spa in Tulum on the Caribbean coast. This job gave her massage experience a big push as she had to massage several people every day, developing many new techniques and skills.
In Tulum finally she met Edgar. He was already living there in a paradisaic community where he was practicing and teaching Yoga and giving Thai Massage.
The two discovered their equality in the passion for these ancient practices and started practicing and learning together and from each other.

Welcome

Hello and welcome everyone to our new blogspot and adventures! ;) We are Katja and Edgar, coming from the countries of Germany and México and when Katja came to the UNO Astrolodge in Tulum on the Mexican Coast, she met Edgar, after a magical sound healing journey. The Sound Healing Meditation Journey is a magical experience that is a trademark of the UNO family, created with various instruments such as harp, flute, harmonium, the native American Flautas, the Indian Citar and Tambura, massages, copal resina incense, and many more creative inputs of each participating individual.
